Shirley M. Green Reaches The Top With Stanford Who's Who
Shirley M. Green has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her remarkable professional career.
LUTCHER, LA, April 17, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Shirley M. Green has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her remarkable professional career. As CEO of Reaching Seniors Inc. for the past 12 years, Shirley has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Reaching Seniors Inc. is an organization which provides vocational training to high school seniors with disabilities. Their services include social skills, job placement, supported employment and working with young people with Autism. Shirley is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations.
During her collegiate career, Shirley earned a Master's degree in Education from Nicholls State University. She served as a Special Education Teacher, as well as having a paraprofessional training classroom. Shirley works closely with case managers to ensure a personal-centered approach is facilitated for all consumers. She has served as a Trainer and Coach for the Special Olympics and is a member of the St. James Parish Chamber of Commerce.
