Willowbrook Manor was honored for its outstanding performance in the health care profession, highlighting select facilities across the U.S. that serve as models of excellence for providing high quality long term care. Willowbrook Manor is the first Ciena Healthcare community to earn a Silver rating.

Willowbrook Manor, a prior Bronze Award recipient, is a five-star rated skilled nursing community.
Implemented by AHCA/NCAL in 1996, the National Quality Award Program is based on the criteria of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, which assists providers of long term and post-acute care services in achieving their performance goals. The Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. First achieving Bronze status, Silver honorees must demonstrate a level of quality achievement through good performance outcomes that have evolved from the facility's ability to embrace the core values and concepts of visionary leadership, a focus on the future and resident-focused excellence.

The award will be presented to the administrators of Willowbrook Manor during ACHA/NCAL's 62nd Annual Convention and Exposition, September 18-21, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV.
