"We're heard from our customers and they have been saying that our walk in tub options are currently not varied enough," says Tim Ziehwein, Vice President of sales for AmeriGlide. "So today we are announcing nine new walk-in tubs, to the AmeriGlide family of products."
The new walk-in tubs that will be carried by AmeriGlide under the Sanctuary line will range from the wheelchair accessible Sanctuary Wheelchair Access walk-in tub to the Sanctuary Shower Enclosure walk-in tub.
"By adding nine walk-in tubs, we hope that now there is a bathtub model to suit everyone with a mobility difficulty who wants to bathe in safety."
Walk-in tubs are accessible bathtubs that are designed for the elderly and disabled. They are designed with walk-in doors and low step-in heights to prevent accidental falls from stepping over a high tub wall. Walk-in tubs also boast a variety of additional features for user safety and luxury, including grab bars and anti-slip surfacing, as well as optional hydrotherapy and whirlpool systems at an additional cost.
