As CEO of Health Care Consultant and throughout her 34 years of valuable experience, Evelyn has consistently demonstrated the dedication and diligence required to be among the best.
Long is dedicated to providing consultation and advocacy for Senior healthcare. Her background in nursing and law is quite beneficial to her current work. She is adding a new concept to her business by promoting physical, mental, and financial Wellness that truly work. She attributes her success to her relationship with God and how it has allowed her the ability to help others and give back in a variety of ways.
Evelyn started in the business because of a good friend of hers named Dr. Rod Calverly. He gave her the opportunity to help design a portable surgery unit that could be used at the battle front and could be deployed in 48 hours. The unit was like a large motor home that was equipped with everything needed for the field, including a portable anesthesia machine that was designed by Dr. Calverly. It was used in the Gulf War.
During her educational career, Evelyn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from George Washington University. She also attained a Law Degree at San Diego State University. Long is a Women's Hall of Fame Honoree. She is a California Legislative Ambassador working with the Legislators to pass bills for cancer research. Evelyn also works as the American Cancer Society's principle educator for cancer prevention, care givers orientation and survivor's advocacy.
Evelyn has received numerous awards for her exceptional efforts including a Women of Distinction Award, International Award for Health Care to Cancer Children in Russia, Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Cancer Institute and has also been recognized by former Presidents, Bill Clinton and George Bush.
