MaxiAids Welcomes New Employee to International Low Vision Sales Group

Cesar Gomez has joined MaxiAids' International Low Vision Sales Group, bringing with him extensive experience in assisting seniors and those with low vision with computer training, employment counseling and independent living needs.

    FARMINGDALE, NY, April 18, 2010 /Seniors PR News/ -- MaxiAids Products for Independent Living, leading supplier of items for the blind and low vision as well as those with other special needs, today announced that Cesar Gomez has joined the company's International Low Vision Sales team.

While at the New York Foundation for Senior Citizens, Mr. Gomez worked with adults over 55 years of age, helping them gain the computer skills needed to prepare for the job market and find employment. As executive director of the National Association for Visually Handicapped, he reached out to institutions, including hospitals, senior centers and independent living facilities to promote an array of programs available to seniors in general, and those with visual challenges in particular. Most recently, Mr. Gomez served as a consultant for various manufacturers in the low vision field, presenting products at low vision shows and demonstrating CCTV's to patients.
