MOUNT VERNON, NY, November 7, 2008 /Seniors PR News/ -- Margaret A. Traynor, Community Relations Representative for The Wartburg Adult Care Community, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of social services.

Ms. Traynor brings 10 years of professional experience to The Wartburg Adult Care Community, a nonprofit organization that offers comprehensive healthcare services, an array of housing options and state-of-the-art facilities focused on caring for aging adults. She specializes in caring for patients with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and is responsible for providing residential housing options to seniors and overseeing caregiver support groups and assisted living services. Additionally, she conducts hospital visits and tours, and coordinates marketing programs for professionals in the public relations arena. She credits her success to her personality and passion for her profession.

A graduate of Hunter College, Ms. Traynor earned her Master of Social Work in 2000, deciding to devote her career to social work after working with the mentally retarded and developmentally disabled population when she was in college. In addition to industry-related training, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from SUNY College at Oneonta in 1995. A certified support group leader through the Alzheimer's Association, Ms. Traynor is also active in other charitable organizations, including the Arthritis Foundation and the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle.

Established in 1866 as a Lutheran social ministry, The Wartburg Adult Care Community seeks to enable elders to live with dignity, prolonged independence and greater well-being. For more information, visit www.thewartburg.org.
